A Voice from Heaven
I was supposed to write a movie review this month. But when I listened to her new album, I could not help but write about it instead. I know that reviews should be written in an objective point of view, however, now I am going to go ahead and write how I knew this album and what I felt when I listened to it…
On that day whileI was watching an episode of one of my favorite TV shows, I heard a soundtrack that
instantly made my ears and mouth open.I concentrated on hearing the song rather than the dialogue between the actors. The singer’s divined voice, and the song’s melody and lyrics entirely blew my heart and mind away.
I kept searching and searching for this soundtrack before even finishing the episode and then, hallelujah, I found it on YouTube- Lana Del Rey’s Video Games- the name of the song made me like it even more.
I wanted to know about her new album and its release date because I could not wait to hear her voice singing more. Her melodies have a hypnotizing sense, which make all her songs irresistible. The lyrics and her ideology of love make you want to fall in a love like hers. She even makes falling in love with a bad boy alluring.
Lana Del Rey’s new album, dubbed Born to Die, has a wondrous effect on me. Every single song in it is overwhelmingly mesmerizing. It is like I wake up to listen to her. The tunes put me in another world. This album is perfection itself…
