Living on a Ball of Fire
For millions of years we have been living on this mysterious planet Earth and still no-one knows for sure how
it was formed or created, many theorists and philosophers tried to find out the mystery of earth's creation and they unleashed their minds in attempt to find a reasonable theory.
The Big Bang theory is the most commonly explained for the formation of
earth, this theory suggests that the universe was a gaseous ball of high pressure, high temperature and small in volume, it was constantly expanding and thus it exploded resulting in all forms of matter, energy, space and time. This expansion formed gases like hydrogen and helium and these gases then formed homogeneous masses of galaxies leaving areas of empty spaces between them.
After 5000 million years our galaxy "The Milky Way" was formed containing the Sun, Earth and the other planets and moons. When the earth was newly formed, it was said to be a part of the sun, which means it was a huge ball of fire and lava like the heart of a volcano, but being away from the sun this ball of fire cooled down resulting in its vaporization and condensation which led to the formation of RAIN.
Rain was the main source of water on earth, which then led to all forms of life, rain poured on earth heavily, it
break through rocks and formed paths for rivers that filled the valleys between rocks with water and formed oceans and seas. Then was the first form of life, the Primitive Bacteria, which fed on heat and cleared the atmosphere from it poisonous gases paving the way for life on earth. Plants then made its magic in turning the atmosphere into what it is nowadays, and it was also the main source of food for animals and man when he existed about 19,000 years after.
Reviewing the history of earth must make us think of its future and that was not difficult for scientists too.
There are two main theories about the universe's future, which are the Open Universe Theory and the Closed universe Theory, the first one suggests that there is no definite end to universe while the second one suggests that the universe will stop expanding and contract in preparation for a second new Big Bang!!
