An overview:

This event was held to honor and praise the martyrs of the Egyptian unique revolution who sacrificed their souls for the freedom of their country, they were the reason for all the positive values appeared in our community after that great revolution. From this point, all the student activities in the Faculty of Engineering Cairo University met and decided to Collaborate together to organize and direct this day, itis happened because such an event shouldn't be exclusive to just one model, it should come from all and to all the students of the faculty of Engineering and also to all the Egyptians.
This is the second co-operation and of course it will not be the last one.All students of the faculty attended and shared this celebration.

MAGNOLOGY magaziner was there to share and cover the celebration.

 

The start:

The celebration started with the National Anthem and then QURANIC recitation. After that there was a speech for DR/ METWALY ABD EL AZIZ, he started his speech by praising the revolution martyrs, then he talked about the revolution, as he noted that the revolution wasn’t only  revolution of the youth as it’s called, but it was the revolution of all the Egyptians, he also referred to one of the great values of this revolution, Refreshing the sense of belonging inside the Egyptian. DR/ METWALY finished his speech by noting that the Egyptian citizens duty towards the army that they should give them a break to focus on their own duties and to carry out reform and further ability to respond to all Egyptian needs. After that there was a poem by one of the students in the love of Egypt and it was very touchy.

After the poem there was a play presented by a group of talented students, the play displayed a funny comparison between Egyptian youth before and after the revolution, also focused on the relation between the people and police before and after the revolution. After the funny play there was a second poem by one of the students, the poem was great and had the same interaction from the attendees just like the first one.

 A documentary was presented after that, it was a 10 minutes documentary about the proceedings of the revolution by the BBC channel (the laughing revolution); the video was tragedy, called for freedom and even showed the Egyptian sense of humor that raised great applause and laughter from the attendees.  Another poem presented by one of the students, it ended with the call to rebuild Egypt and protect it with all the power we may have; the claps were loud after the poem ended.

Another play was represented by the actors of the first play; it was a display of the recent development in Egypt and the Arab world in a sarcastic way. Representing the former president Mubarak and the ministers characters talking in el fos7a
named "Ben Ezz" "Ben Mubarak" "Ben el Adly" ... etc. It was a conversations at the time of the revolution and one of the students imitated "El Qazafy” Laughing out loud.

By the end of the celebration DR/ BASEM AOUDA was introduced to deliver a short speech that shook deep feelings in the attendees, he started with thanking all the revolution youth for their great achievement in the past month and stating that the most important thing we came out of the revolution is “always looking forward to a better future”. He also noted the importance of attending the upcoming referendum in 19thof march for changing the constitution, he said that whether we are with or against changing the constitution, we should attend because this will be a great value, he added that 19thof march should be a feast and a day of joy for all the Egyptians, we should be all joining hands to avoid any corruption that might take place, he also pointed out that remnants of the party might try to ruin the upcoming referendum, and he ended his speech by saying that he is with changing the constitution and he respects others who disagree.

Art exhibition:
at the end of the celebration there was a photography exhibition for the revolution taken by the students of the faculty, the photos were amazing, the talent of the photographers was obvious, and the attendants signed on a white piece of paper hanged next to each photo with admiration sentences.
